Wasini Island Dolphin Dhow Tour/Excursion
You will be picked from your hotel in the morning and drive to Wasini Island along Mombasa – Lunga Lunga highway and on to Shimoni jetty where you will board an Arabic dhow and sail for one hour searching for dolphins in the Kisite-Mpunguti marine national – one of the best marine reserves in Kenya. The park covers 28 sq km of pristine coral reefs and offers excellent diving and snorkeling. You have a reasonable chance of seeing dolphins in the Shimoni Channel and humpback whales are sometimes spotted between August and October. The dhow trip normally includes lunch and a walk in the coral gardens on Wasini Island.
You will then be returned to your Mombasa hotel in the evening.
